ARTISTIC JUGGLING
&
FOOT JUGGLING
I am a finnish versatile juggler and foot juggler whose artistic work expands the boundaries of art. I found my way to circus through theatre – the main focus of my artistic work is bringing contemporary circus, along with a broader form of circus expression and thinking, into the art field.
My strengths include combining strong expression and narrative storytelling with juggling technique and movement. I represent a new way of thinking about juggling as an art form.

I didn’t find juggling – juggling found me. I instantly fell in love and wanted to explore all the different aspects of it.
My method is based on a passion for creating visionary juggling art that inspires new ways of thinking about juggling. I continuously explore storytelling through juggling and seamlessly combine emotional expression with technical virtuosity. I want to contribute to the long history of circus by adding, alongside its technical mastery and entertainment value, a deeper artistic and narrative dimension. My aim is to create circus that reminds the viewer of a powerful theatrical experience while maintaining the unique sense of wonder that belongs to circus. Through the themes and content of my works, I seek to move the audience and awaken thoughts and emotions. With a strong stage presence, I aim to create a genuine connection with the viewer, often playing with audience interaction. In addition, I constantly work with musical nuances and lyrics and frequently incorporate elements of visual theatre – all the elements weave together into a seamless artistic whole.
The difficulties within juggling often lie on the psychological side. Failing on stage, especially in juggling, is so visible. In these moments, I remind myself that in my juggling I combine, among other things, expressive acting, movement, music, and contact with the audience – and together, all of these form juggling art. Art cannot be valued or measured. Art is not based solely on technical performance. A drop is part of that art just as much as the throw itself. The fragility that juggling represents has been one of my greatest sources of inspiration. By dropping, I bring one of the most beautiful aspects of juggling onto the stage – its fragility. That is why my method is also partly a tribute to the diversity of juggling as an art form and to everything it contains and could become – including the human being behind the tricks, with their emotions and thoughts.
I draw inspiration from myself, from other people, and from life around me – from my emotions, experiences, and what exists within me. From there, I create the juggling technique. Also as a female juggler, it is important for me to bring my solo work into the field.
